Master Clips | Calvin Johnson ep2
Song: Street Car Love This is a love song about a man and woman who meet. Living in New Orleans, I rarely have caught the streetcar because it's just so slow. I found myself feeling like it's the perfect backdrop for a Hollywood romantic comedy- a man and woman who meet on the streetcar, that's so NOLA More on Calvin Johnson: https://www.calvinjohnsonmusic.com/ Accompanied by Ryan Hansler Master Clips is hosted By Monique Pyle, Managing Director PVF and produced in collaboration with Rob Davis Photography http://robdavisphotography.com/ https://positivevibrations.foundation Positive Vibrations Foundation is a non-profit private operating foundation formed exclusively for charitable and educational purposes as defined by IRS section 501(c)(3).

The screening will be accompanied by an audience Q&A and special performance by New Orleans’ own Calvin Johnson & Native Son, who depicted Frank Lewis in the film. General admission tickets are available for a limited time only. Admission includes open bar by Seven Three Distilling Co. and catering by Bywater Bakery. All proceeds benefit the New Orleans Jazz Museum. Purchase tickets today: bolden.eventbrite.com. ABOUT BOLDEN: BOLDEN, directed by Dan Pritzker, imagines the compelling, powerful and tragic journey of Buddy Bolden, the unsung American hero who invented Jazz. With little biographical information and no found recordings of his music, the film’s narrative composes fragmented memories of Bolden’s past, set against the political and social context in which his revolutionary music was conceived. Wynton Marsalis composed and recorded original music for the film. ABOUT CALVIN JOHNSON: Calvin Johnson is a third generation New Orleans saxophonist, composer, and bandleader of Native Son. Johnson has toured the world, spanning 5 continents, spreading the gospel of music with artists such as Harry Connick Jr., Irma Thomas, Preservation Hall, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Jason Derulo, and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. When not on tour, Calvin can be found in the public schools of New Orleans mentoring the next generations of NOLA musicians through a partnership with the Preservation Hall Foundation.
